Scorpions est un groupe de hard rock allemand fondé en 1965 à Hanovre, en Allemagne. Leur premier album a vu le jour en 1972. Le groupe a connu un prestige planétaire - surtout à partir des années 1980 - en raison de titres hard rock tels que No One Like You en 1982 ou Rock You Like a Hurricane en 1984 et de ballades à l'instar de Still Loving You la même année ou Wind of Change et Send Me an Angel en 1990, toutes chansons au succès commercial presque systématique. À ce jour ils ont vendu plus de 100 millions d'albums à travers le monde. Le 23 janvier 2010 le groupe annonce sur son site officiel, qu'après leur tournée mondiale accompagnant la sortie du nouvel album, ils mettront un terme à leur carrière.
